BBC correspondent Nawal al Maghafi is one of the few journalists reporting from inside Yemen. For the past two years, she has been flying back and forth from London to her native homeland to cover the country’s civil war. She is believed to be the only journalist from a Western media outlet to report from the location of a U.S. Navy Seal raid in Yemen in January, the first military operation of the new Trump Administration.
